Notable Features
❋ The gloves she wears bear the Divine Eye, the symbol of Radz-at-Han and said to possess a piercing gaze which sees the truth of all things.❋ Often her garments favor golden or yellow weave, symbolic of Cinduruva, Manusya goddess of wisdom.❋ The clothing Rakshata favors is fashioned from high-quality textiles, suggesting she is not especially wanting for money.❋ Wrapped around her wrist is a woven cord, recognizable as the blessed cord given to one's partner in Thavnairian marital custom.❋ At all times, the Raen enjoys potent scents of Hannish perfumes, giving her a pleasant - if perpetual - aroma often drawn from the amra fruit.❋ Her scent can occasionally mingle with the vapors of her pipe, which she will often be seen with.❋ The left side of her face is covered with a dark bandage, and the edge of mangled scarring can be seen beneath along her cheek.❋ Rakshata noticeably limps with pain in her left leg, and relies upon a cane for strenuous travel.

I. Affluence and Academia
❋ She is the youngest scion to House Rajaaha, a wealthy Hannish family that enjoyed the auspices of House Daemir for alchemical and mercantile ventures.❋ Radz-at-Han's partnerships with Sharlayan saw Rakshata undertake abroad studies during her education, and her assistance in research has given her some academic reputation in the Eorzean city-state. One might even know her from her student days.❋ An accomplished alchemist in her own right, Rakshata specialized in the study of aetheric life and its emergence, as well as bolstering vitality and treating disease. One may even know of her through her own past research publications on the subjects.II. Personal Passions
❋ Rakshata has an often unexplored interest in Auri history especially preceding the arrival of the Au Ra in Thavnair; tales from the Steppe, Sui-no-Sato, and other myriad homelands of the Au Ra are a point of fascination.❋ She has a love of food - though she will always be predisposed to the flavors of Thavnair, she will seldom turn away from a chance to explore the offerings of restaurants and passionate cooks, wherever she may go.❋ Rakshata dabbles in goldsmithing and textiles and even incorporates some of her skills into her alchemical products, such as unique talismans and ribbons.❋ Though she has yet to resume business, she previously ran a traveling alchemy shop called the Rolling Crucible. ❋ During the Final Days, Rakshata took flight with her son and sister-in-law as refugees to the moon. Others may have been present for the failed exodus.❋ Some time after the Final Days, earned a poor reputation in Ishgard with the creation of an addictive drug called Halcyon Days. Many were affected by its consumption; those still grappling with its consequences often curse her name.❋ Recently, she is said to have returned in Sharlayan, where she now performs reparation work as ordered by the Forum. Rumor suggests she also frequents Ishgard, where she is mandated to clean up after her mistakes.

From a young age, Rakshata and Savitri were close friends between close houses. When an unexplained illness befell Savitri that none could cure, Rakshata was inspired to be the change in her life. In later years, they would become bound as sisters, when Rakshata came to marry Savitri's brother, Ashzal.

A pugilist of the Radiant Host, Ashzal's boldness in battle was matched by his meekness in love, of which Rakshata received. The two were a happy union, even conceiving a beloved son together. Alas, when came the Final Days, death finally parted them.

For abusing her Sharlayan connections in making Halcyon Days, Rakshata was tasked to reparations under the oversight of one Mine Nagae. As such, Mine acts a supervisor to the alchemist's penance - a responsibility with a healthy touch of self-interest.

Despite being one of those most victimized by Rakshata, Viryen's determination to help her through her own suffering was the only thing that preserved the Raen's life when justice closed around her. Present through the journey of her rehabilitation, Rakshata owes much of her progress to the Duskwight's resolve.

Ali took responsibility of Rakshata as a patient when they first met in a clinic in Ishgard. What began as helping a struggling victim turned to a chase to stop her terrible actions, but his commitment remained to the recovery of his patient. Thanks to his efforts, her rehabilitation was made possible. With her wounds mending, the two have begun to approach one another as colleagues.

I try to keep subject matter tasteful, but I also try to curate this and only bring it up at my partners' discretion.❋ I don't mind playing with higher concept ideas as long as they are compatible.❋ Rakshata is a noncombatant - please keep this in mind if you should pursue conflict with her.❋ World RP is cool, and I'm all for coming up with scenarios to put our characters in the open world.❋ I have no outstanding boundaries on theme or tone in desired RP outside of keeping things tasteful and I can usually play with any subject; ideal RP focuses on the science of XIV, and themes surrounding the psychological, the interdimensional, and the cosmic can be interesting.
